I am a fourth-year PhD student in the Department of Linguistics at New York University. My advisor is Maria Gouskova.

My primary research interests lie in phonology, particularly at its interface with morphology. I also have an interest in morphosyntax. Much of my work draws on data from understudied languages, with a special focus on Tibetan.

Before coming to NYU, I received my BA in linguistics at the University of Chicago, where I was advised by Karlos Arregi. I also worked with Ming Xiang at the Language Processing Lab.

My surname is written as 顾/顧 and pronounced as /ku˥˩/ (high-falling tone, voiceless unaspirated stop). In English contexts, /gu/ is a perfectly acceptable approximation.
