Here is a webpage I have created on Kaqchikel language revitalization in the Maya highlands.
You can often find me birding in various locales in NYC, which mostly involves staring into the East River, consuming inconvenient snacks I brought, and telling other birders that my job sometimes involves spectrograms.
In the summer, I volunteer with the NYC Plover Project to to help protect the Piping Plover, a New York State endangered species threatened by coastal development and human disturbance, as well as other shorebirds that nest on the Rockaway Peninsula.
